Upgrade from LEPTON 1.3.2 to 2.0.0

Introduction:

Using this package you can upgrade your LEPTON Installation 1.3.2 to LEPTON 2.0.0 .

Installations lower than 1.3.2 have to be updated to 1.3.2 first.

All neccesarry packages can be downloaded here or from the archiv.

Maybe there are some modules that have to be updated or modified later on or must be copied from saved installation (if you use extended lib_jquery for example).

Please notice that ther are addons for LEPTON 2.x available on the Addons Repository (LEPAdoR).

If you need some help to modify addons please post on the forum .

Step 1:

Save complete installation (all files) and database!

Keep in mind that there is no fallback!

If upgrade fails you have to recreate your installation using the saved files and database.

Windows-User should make upgrade using Mobile Release (usbwebserver) and then upload files and database to your webspace. You can also use packages like xampp or similar to do this.

Step 2:

If you have renamed some directories (pages, admins, media), you have to undo those modifications to make the upgrade work!
All modified frontend.css inside of addons must be renamed (frontend_custom.css) or saved.
Save all droplets via backend function to upload them after upgrade again.
Save special standard modules (extenden lib_jquery) to upload them after upgrade.

Step 3:

Download Upgrade-Package , unzip and upload to the root of your installation.

The file 2upgrade.php then is in root of your installation.

Start upgrade calling:

http://your-domain.tld/2upgrade.php

and follow the hints on your screen.

At last log in, upload droplets_backup_file and copy news table in the backend_options if neccessary.

Also update modules and snippets if neccessary and remove custom frontend.css files to addons.
